ToolGuyd’s First Ever “Identify This Tool” Contest/Giveaway

First-Ever-ToolGuyd-Identify-this-Tool-Contest

We are excited to announce ToolGuyd’s first ever “Identify This Tool” contest. The first person to correctly identify the brand and type of tool shown above will be declared the winner. The winner will receive a brand new Pocket Reference.

We couldn’t make things too easy on you - the pictured clue is a tight crop of part of the tool. If nobody correctly identifies the tool by 6pm EST on Friday July 3rd, we will randomly select a winner. In other words, even if you incorrectly identify the tool you may still have a chance to win.

The contest rules are simple: Only one entry per person is allowed. To enter, simply provide your answer/guess as a comment. If there is no correct answer by the 3rd, a winner will be selected from this pool of comments.

You must enter a valid email address when you submit your comment. Your email address will not be used other than to contact you should you win. Only those in the contiguous US are eligible to win. We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time.

This giveaway is not sponsored, and is self-funded by ToolGuyd.

Looks like some kind of sanding pad or block, but I’m stumped.

  2. 2WYKD says:

What a great idea Stuart!!! I can’t identify it right off hand, but props to those who can. This website gets more fun every day.

  3. ilya godes says:

Looks like a Bahco screwdriver handle.

  4. Superautobacs says:

DAMNIT! I think ilya got to it before me. That was easy, Stuey!

  5. Superautobacs says:

BUT, technically it’s not a Bahco. Afterall, it was a product from Belzer.

  6. Stuart says:

Ilya – it looks like you hit the nail on the head (or rather the screwdriver on the handle)! We will contact you shortly with details about the prize.

Either Bahco or Belzer would have been accepted. Since the driver photographed was Bahco-branded and Ilya answered first, he is the rightful victor.

  7. Snapmom says:

My Pop’s face, after Mom hit him with the frying pan.
