Bosch Sortimo L-Boxx Tool Storage with Cordless Drill Module

Over at Coptool, Jay spills the beans about which Bosch tools will be the first to be bundled with the new Bosch-Sortimo L-Boxx tool cases. It looks like the first 3 kits will be Bosch’s new 12V PS31 drill-driver (PS31-AL $159), their cordless 12V Multi-X oscillating tool (PS50-2BL $199), and Bosch’s new jig saw (details TBD).

It’s also worth showing you the following intro video that was put together by the good folks at Toolstop. Browsing Toolstop’s product catalog also gave us a sense of what the Bosch L-Boxx cases will cost for once they arrive here in the states.

Does the honeycomb pattern in the lid make it stronger?

I didn’t watch the whole video so I don’t know if he commented on that. No offense to anybody but I could barely understand what he was saying.

The honeycomb pattern likely adds rigidity to the case’s lid. If I recall, some bloggers stood on the cases without issue.

I hope they come out with a version for the 18V brute drill soon.

It’s definitely possible, but Bosch hasn’t really expanded their selection of L-Boxx kit bundles yet.

I hope they will soon, I just made up my mind up about the 18V Brute drill but now I want one with an L-Boxx.
