We will be transforming our office into a room for our second baby, so the wife says the yellow paint has to go
It would be cool to try this for that room.
I know it sounds strange in these days and times, but I just bought a new house! Somebody thought the whole house should be a very depressing BLUE color inside. So lot’s of painting in my future! I of course painted the Garage first! A man’s got to keep his priorities straight!
A bathroom, a den, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room. I guess it might have been a shorter list to say what doesn’t need painting!
My wife and I just sold our house and are returning to our roots. We are in house-searching mode. It seems the fad in recent years has been to paint childrens’ rooms all sorts of obnoxious colors, like neon green, bright orange, purple with pink strips, etc. ad nauseum. We have a 15 month old son and a daughter due in November. So, in addtition to repaiting children’s rooms with low VOC paint, I’m going to have to find a serious primer to cover the above-mentioned atrocious colors.
I’ve considered renting or buying a spray gun, but that would be (1) expensive, and (2) require a LOT of masking. The RapidRoller looks like a perfect alternative that is faster than a traditional roller, but not require a lot of masking preparation.
I’d be willing to post a review of my thoughts after using the RapidRoller!
Well, we’ve been in our house a year and a half now, but there’s still painting left to do. The master bedroom, the office and the spare bedroom are desperately in need of a coat (or two) (or three) of paint and since I started working out again I’ve been eying the bare block walls in the basement, thinking that they could use some paint as well.
Repainting basically every room in the house! We just bought a house and want to change some colors (and paint over all the holes in the walls).
I would use this to redo the ceiling paint and and entry paint in our new home. All our furniture is in the dining room!
I have been putting off painting projects for a while. Maybe this will get me motivated to get them done.
I hate painting. REALLY hate it. This would considerably speed things up for me, so I can move on to other, more interesting parts of my building projects. Maybe I could even convince the wife to paint for me
I’d use it to repaint our bathroom.
I’d use it to paint my kitchen.
Ohh I could finally finish painting the upstairs of my house. Wife can get off my back…lol.
Painting sucks! It would suck less with a RapidRoller…
My vacation project this year is repainting the kitchen and master bedroom. Both were redone during vacation 6 years ago & need a fresh coat of paint.
I would use this to paint my hallway and bathroom!
i have paint waiting for it.
later jim
I just renovated my entire house and the only color that is on my walls is primer white. this roller will really help put some color on the walls.
I need this more than anyone! I’m prego and have to paint the baby’s room!!!!
We don’t have any current painting projects, but my sister does! I know she’d love being gifted with this!
if i win,i will use it to paint my beasment.
When I bought my house 25 years ago, it was freshly painted. About 5 years ago I considered repainting, but the Rapid Roller had not been invented yet. If I won the thing, I would now repaint.
I’d like to win this because I would be able to repaint my room myself.
If I won this I would finally get around to finish painting the kitchen ceiling so I can finally finish the recessed lighting and get the old ball and chain off my back give me more time to sit in the shop and work on the important things like my custom 4×4 quad/rockcrawler for rockhounding and a 12 pack of keystone light
I’d use it to repaint my room, had a lil issue when the cans I bought were just a bit of a different color. I think the guy at the paint counter didn’t put in the exact same mix each time. So now I have these really cool shadows….
I’m not much of a painter but when the job calls for it it’d be nice to have something to speed up that tedious job!
I am currently remodeling my bathroom and would be great to use to paint the walls n ceiling
Really needing to repaint the interior walls Of my house and my brothers house.
Paint my garage walls white so I have more light reflection.
Having owned a Drywall business for over 35 years, and now branching out into painting , it would be neat to see if this can stand up to the abuse of everyday use.
Would be glad to let you know how it goes.
Hi,
If I won the contest I’ll be using the paint roller to repaint the living room, kitchen and hallway of my home. I’ve been putting it off but this tool sure would make my life easier!
Thanks,
Kyle
I am in the process of ripping out a bunch of knob and tube wiring in my moms house and patching all the walls and ceilings. Doing a spray texture and then painting. Have to do a coat of primer and two coats of paint on everything takes a lot of time!
Thanks,
Scott
With a new baby on the way and an old house in need of some attention, I would be able to put this to work making this old place into the nest of his or her Mommy’s dreams. If we won this, I’m certain that I would be busy for quite a few weekends.
My wife wants to paint some accent walls in the house. A deep red behind our headboard, a dark blue around the tub in the master bath to complement the blue gray granite stone, etc. Something like this will definitely come in handy
Jared
I would use this to paint all of the white walls in my house (i.e. all of them). I am so tired of white walls!
I have a considerable amount of walls to paint in my house and this would make it much easier on getting it done and me physically!
Almost every room is institutional green (they must have gotten quite the bargain on paint), the kithchen is close to harvest gold, and the 500 sqft family room with the 16 ft cathedral ceiling is 70s off white, discolored paneling! So lots to do.
I would use it , then after showing sons how it works, hand it to them to show me how it really works in use on all them projects !!
I would go to town painting the inside of my home. I would then lend it to my mother in law to use for her high ceilings.
I’d love to paint my kitchen with that roller!
We would use this in our guest room! Time for a color change!
My son’s bedroom needs a repaint. Time to get rid of the Star Wars theme.
My wife wants the inside of the house painted after 10 years and the B&D paint roller would make the job bearable.
I’m a 61 year old DIYer. I’m remodeling my 24 year old home; one room at a time. This tool would save me so much time I’d actually took forward to painting every room.
I really hate to paint so anything that makes the job easier is a plus for me. This certainly appears like a tool for me.
Our bedroom is an ugly orange…not Sedona orange, but popsicle orange. We need to paint it sooo badly!
Our main floor rooms haven’t been painted for years and my husband could really use the Black & Decker Rapid Roller to quickly finish this painting project!
I recently purchased a home where apparently the former owner loved the color red. Did I mention really loved red?? The bedroom on the main floor is RED – really really red…
I have a den and living room coming up to paint this would be great
Well at 67 this roller would be a great help I still need to finish my ketchen and I still have a foyer and a bathroom to do it really sounds helpfull
Hubby and I could definitely use this as we prepare a baby room!!

I would like to use this to paint our two story house, and tool shed inside and out, this weekend!!
I’d use this to paint the hallway, especially above the stairs. It’s too high for me to reach, and I’m afraid of ladders, so I just haven’t done it yet. This might be the perfect solution for me!

I will make my wife happy painting around the house,
Thanks
Great timing.Just stripped the wallpaper off the walls in my son’s room.Need to repaint and right after that need to repaint one of the bathrooms.
This would have been nice a few months ago, but I’m sure I’ll have a need in the future…
I would use the RapidRoller to repaint my office because the previous owner thought that pumpkin and mustard looked good together. It would also be handy in painting the garage…
I would use this to aid in the renovation of my first home. Re-paint all walls and ceilings upstairs, and paint basement walls and ceilings once we finish it off. I would also offer it to friends to borrow when they have painting projects.
I’ve got my two story hose to paint, and definitely prefer rolling to spraying. rolled paint simply lasts longer and is less likely to have the barrier fail compared to a sprayed surface on houses, with their rough surfaces.
