Yes, these are excellent tools. Lowe’s has the drill/driver and impact in a kit for $159, which saves a little if you can get by with two batteries. I’ve been using these for several months and I love them. I just added the 3/8 drill (pictured) for $99. The batteries alone sell for $35-37 each, so this is a great addition for the cost. I do mostly interior remodeling work and I expect these to handle 95% of my drilling and driving requirements. Awesome!

Did I miss out on this? The links above only have $99 pricing for the drill/driver. The PS21 and PS41 show up on Amazon for $140 and $170, respectively.

The PS21 is still available at $99, but since it’s now backordered, you have to click on the link to the right of the product page under “more buying options”. The PS31 is still at $99 and is available for immediate shipping, and the PS41 appears to be out of stock and unavailable to be backordered.

I picked up the PS41 impact driver, and its unbelievable how much better it is than my Craftsman 19.2V drill when it comes to driving large deck or woodscrews. The impact driver really prevents your wrist from being torqued and keeps the bit from slipping out of th screw head and damaging the screw.

Ergonomically, the handle is a little thick, and you cannot balance it well on the base of its handle. It feels good in the hand though, and it very short, which makes it useful in tight to reach places. Alot of the driver is covered in a texture black rubber, which attracts a lot of dust and dirt. It gets dirty fast since, as I mentioned before, it doesn’t balance on its base well. This is nit-picky stuff though- it will become your go-to driver when it comes to any screws that aren’t being driven into drywall.
