Bosch’s multi-construction bits are designed for high performance drilling through wood, masonry, ceramic tiles, plastic, and metal. There are several features that give Bosch’s multi-construction bits an edge, including its diamond tungsten carbide tip, steep spiral flutes optimized for rapid debris removal, and a softened shank for better bit gripping.

These bits can be used in impact or rotary mode, and are said to be quite durable. We have a few of these bits in our possession and look forward to seeing if they are as versatile as Bosch claims them to be. The prices of these bits seem to be comparable to Bosch’s standard hammer drill masonry bits (which we find to be of excellent quality).

Why do so many of these ‘illustrations’ of drill bits, show the bit with a left-hand twist, when it does not?
I actually know a couple people who thought they were buying ‘LH’ bits, when they weren’t. To their defense, the website described the bits as ‘a 13 piece set, 1/4 to 3/8, as shown’
