ToolGuyd reader and frequent commenter uthscaedu gave us a heads-up that the Edpedition Tools HK1 Hydrokinetic Adjustable Wrench that we had recently posted about had dropped in price to $21.50.

The Expedition Tools HK1 Hydrokinetic Adjustable Wrench is a rather intriguing tool that has recently caught our attention. Normally we’re quite wary of unconventional tools, especially those claiming to be “all-in-0ne” solutions, but it looks like the Hydrokinetic Wrench deserves a closer look.

I had the opportunity to use a Channellock adjustable wrench today, and it was an impressionable experience. The Channellock adjustable had very little play in the jaw, was relatively smooth to operate, and felt robust and sturdy. To top it off, the Channellock packed a huge jaw capacity into a small package.
