We put Porter Cable’s new 18V lithium-ion drill driver through a few grueling tests and then into the hands of a contractor. We’re still putting the finishing touches on our review, but thus far it looks like the drill earns high marks across the board.

After previewing the new Lowes Kobalt Double Drive Screwdriver, we used it for a couple of small projects and have passed it around to a few friends and colleagues. While it’s not an ultra-heavy-duty driver aimed at professional users, it has proven to be a handy tool that’s also pretty fun to use.

Last year’s holiday season must-have tool was the Kobalt Multi-Drive Wrench. Demand for the Multi Drive was so huge that it became difficult to find one towards the end of the shopping season.

Zen Magnets are super high quality rare earth magnetic beads that you use to build small structures. While I can tell you all about them, it’s easier to show you. The following video does a good job of showing what can be done with these beads.

I’ve always loved playing with magnets, and remember my cousin having two sets that me and my sister used to love playing with. One set had thin diamond shaped magnets, and the other larger cubes.
