Children’s Workshop at Home Depot

Every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon, all Home Depot stores host a FREE “How-to-Clinic” aimed at children ages 5-12. Included as part of the free session is the completed project, a kid-sized orange apron, and an achievement pin.

This sounds like a great idea to help get children interested in DIY and similar hobbies in a safe and supervised environment. That, and it sounds like fun for both parents and children as well.

The next kid’s workshop will be on April 4th, and the sheduled project is a window birdhouse.

The link doesn’t seem to be working.
How much is the workshop? I think my nephew would like that.
