Was $49.72 after coupon earlier today!

  2. Stuart says:

My guess is that you caught it right when one discount was ending and the next beginning, resulting in a rare stack. All I see is $55 and change, which is still a great price.

  3. teicher says:

I saw similar behavior earlier today, when I got a Nextec G2 drill for close to 50% off. The price was about $5 cheaper early in the morning than it currently is. Anyway, glad to have a new drill at a great price.

  4. lametec says:

It was probably about 8:10am this morning. A bit odd for a promotion to end at that time, but I guess anything’s possible. The deal stayed good for a while, as I tried adding to cart a few different times.

I have no use for the set, so I didn’t order. Not knowing whether it’s USA or China made made me even less interested.

  5. lametec says:

    Eastern time, that is.

  6. Colin says:

That set is RP stuff, and definately USA.

Is there room to add a 1/2 drive ratchet in the case?

  7. Stuart says:

    RP?

If the case is anything like the ones bundled with some of Craftsman’s other smaller mechanics tool sets, I’d say probably not.

  8. Colin says:

Raised Panel. To my knowledge, craftsman still manufactures all chrome sockets, raise panel ratchets, and raised panel wrenchs in the USA.

  9. Stuart says:

Ah, of course. That’s what I thought as well. I know that the full polish wrench production has been sent overseas, but the tools in this set should all be USA-made.

One of these days I just might have to switch from my “easy read” sockets to these “dual marked” ones.

  10. Ryan says:

I just picked this set up; I can confirm all of the tools are made in USA

  11. lametec says:

Now $49.99. Add a filler, then use coupon to get it down further.

  12. Stuart says:

Wow, $50 is even more tempting. Interesting enough, the sale info puts the price as $69.99. Not that I’m complaining.

  13. John says:

$44.99 right now 12/21. No codes needed

  14. Colin says:

I tried to post that this came down to $45 a few days ago. No dice for me… couldn’t post on anything. Any ideas?
