Dremel Introduces New Glass Cutting Drill Bits

Dremel Glass Cutting Bits

In its quest to provide just about any bit and burr hobbyists, crafters, and pros may ever need, Dremel introduced new glass cutting drill bits. These bits are available in 1/8″ and 1/4″ sizes and can be used to cut flat or contoured glass, and ceramic wall tile.

Each diamond-grit-impregnated core-style bit features full 360° coverage, allowing it to be used as a rasp to enlarge holes if necessary. Holes on the side of each bit allow for quick removal of glass dust and debris from inside the bits. Cutting oil is also included with each bit for lubrication and to reduce heat build up.

These bits are due to arrive in stores this month and are priced at $20 (1/8″) and $25 (1/4″).
