I’m thinking of buying a pair of FastCap Flush Cut Pliers/Trimmers. From the pictures I’ve seen, they look nicely made. One of the reviews on Amazon says the handle sleeves cracked and fell off, I find that hard to believe. Anybody have any experience with them?
I own a pair of the flush cut pliers. The handle sleeves are very solid. Seems hard for me to believe they would just crack and fall off.
Thanks Mark Jacobs.! I wonder why that person would leave a comment like that about the sleeves? There are 3 other reviews that all are complimentary with 5 star ratings. The one person with the negative review must have been lying or stores their tools in dry ice. I’m going to break down and buy a pair.
All I could think of is that the guy that gave the FastCap flush cut trimmers a negative review received a defective tool, or he exposed them to a nasty chemical.
These trimmers are intended for finish woodworking, so I imagine they’re not too resilient to harsh solvents.
