That’s interesting. I was at Lowe’s and saw a wood-handled screwdriver set. I believe it was made by Sheffield. I didn’t check the price or COO. I have a feeling they are Asian imports.
Uthscsaedu, while I am not familiar with the specific wood-handled screwdriver set at Lowes that you’re referring to, I have seen “Sheffield” tools before (most notably at Sears), and in each case the tools appeared to be of generic import quality.
I believe the Sheffield brand tools used to be made in England, but I’m sure not any more
