Last week we discussed a few ways to score a free Lowes coupon. Since then, a few more tips came to mind with a few others passed on to us by readers. Today we will discuss a few more ways to find both free and with-purchase coupons.
Get a Free Lowes Coupon
You may want to sign up for Lowes’ shop class. These short woodworking project guides are fun, and Lowes will sometimes email a free $10 off $50 coupon to get you started with suppliers.
In a comment to our recent post on how to score a Lowes coupon ($10 off $25 or $50), Teicher mentioned that project starter coupons are also often given out at Lowes’ Build & Grow clinics.
Next, we’ve been receiving business builder coupons in the mail once a season or so. These packets usually include $10 off $50 and $25 off $250 coupons. I suppose this is the equivalent of the project starter coupons that Lowes sometimes mails out to residential addresses. If anyone has any insight about how to sign up for this, please let us know.
Get a Lowes Coupon with Purchase
A friend tipped us off that a new Lowes coupon ($10 off $50 project starter) is currently being attached to 2-bag bundles of Kingsford charcoal. That’s one way to clear out seasonal merchandise!
As mentioned previously, select packs of Dewalt screwdriving bits and Pilot Point drill bits are also bundled with a project starter coupon. I spotted a few promotional coupon-bundled packs again this week, although some stores may have sold out by now.
Finally, you may want to check Lowes’ facebook or twitter accounts for news of new coupon offerings. Several times a year they will offer a free printable coupon available directly via their website.
Another option is this:
Go to the post office and request some change of address forms. Inside you will find 10% Lowe’s coupons.
I used to find the real 10% coupons at the post office, but then they started taking them out. Now it’s just a link to sign up and get the coupon mailed or emailed to you.
That’s because people have been exploiting the coupons by grabbing stacks of them to sell on ebay.
You can go to http://lowesmoving.com/ and request a coupon. Its 10% off, and comes in a few days (I assume they try to verify everything)

Yesterday I picked up a two-pack of WD-40 cans that came with a $10 off $50 coupon good thru Oct 31, costs under $7.
If you are in the military, show your id card and you will 10% off at Lowes. You will have to wait for a manager to come and do an override, but it’s worth it.
