Haha, thanks Maikeru , love the list! Thanks for sharing!

I do tend to go nuts over multi-tools as well. I don't need any more, but have a hard time resisting great sales.

Here are a few multi-tool related ones...

10. You can't believe your Eagle Scout cousin doesn't own and has never owned any sort of multi-tool.

11. You already own an awesome multi-tool (Leatherman Charge TTi), but still miss the old one that it replaces.

12. You seriously consider getting another multi-tool due to there being a sale on it despite already owning a great multi-tool with more tools on it.

13. You hear that the average life-span of a butterfly-folder format multi-tool is 3-4 years and start to make calculations of how many of your favourite model you need to purchase to make sure that you always that model strapped to your side.

14. You carry a separate dedicated folding knife just because you worry about wearing out the blade on your multi-tool.

15. You hear that people actually disassemble and re-assemble these tools to contain the features and types of knives that they need and thus start to browsing various multi-tool sites in order to build The Perfect Tool.

16. You extend your love of the multifunction nature of multi-tools to everything you own; all of your gear now has at least 5 different functions.

17. You decide that your dog doesn't have enough features and thus build him a collar that includes a canteen barrel, a survival knife, a container for a flint, a flashlight, and a water filtration unit.

18. People start to refer to you as "Inspector Gadget" because of your extensive EDC.

...and some normal ones...

19. Your car's trunk has a lot in common with the interior of a Snap-On tool truck.

20. You refuse to remove the portable generator and from your trunk and thus invest in upgrading your car's suspension to carry it and the rest of your tools.

21. Due to you being their best customer, your local hardware store abolishes their employee of the month parking space and devotes it to you.

12. You've been married three times and still have the same in-laws.

I bet if I just asked her for it she would give it to me!

It's not a mechanics shop, just a medical office, so I have no idea how a screwdriver like that would even find it's way there.

Here's one that's more appropriate -

I was at work and a cabinet had a loose screw. A coworker said she had a screwdriver lying around and went to get it. She returned with a hard-handle Snap on screwdriver!!

I said, wow, Snap-on!

She said something like, I have no idea what it is, I just found it lying around somewhere.

sheesh!!

These don't really fit on this list....

**I get really irritated when I borrow someone's sockets, and they don't have them on rails, just scattered in a drawer!! It makes absolutely no sense - how can you find anything?

**OWNING the correct tool, but not having it when you need it really frustrates me. For example I have some specialty tools - I go out of town to visit family for Christmas - a family member's car requires repair which could use this very tool, however I don't have it with me!

7. Your vehicle can drive itself to Sears, Woodcraft, and Northern Tools.

8. Even though you don't buy 'gimmicky' tools anymore, you love getting them for Christmas.

Absolutely!

My wife would never approve of catalogs in the bathroom, so they're kept in various places.

Everyone, feel free to add additional points!

May I add number 6 ?

6. You have a two foot high stack of tool catalogs conveniently located in the bathroom.

Great list, I read it nodding my head yes to all five.
