Free Lowes Coupons

Looking for a Lowes coupon? Of course you are. That’s the top question we’re asked via email on a regular basis. Okay, here’s what you do:

First, keep an eye on ToolGuyd and our DealGuyd page – we check for coupons routinely and always post about ‘em when we we find ‘em.

Second, visit your local Lowes. Quite a few times a year they will bundle coupons in with various products. Sometimes it’s batteries, other times painters tape packs, and more recently (and currently), Dewalt drill bit sets.

Third, check your mailbox. I’ve received several project starter coupons bundled in with other junk mail and promotional flyers. This may have been because of area-specific or targeted promotions, so your miles may vary.

Fourth, head on over to Lowes’ Moving page, where you can sign up for a free 10% off coupon. These used to be found in post offices, but I suppose there were too many exploiters grabbing them by the dozens to sell them on ebay.

I take my daughter to those Build & Grow children’s clinics on Saturday morning, and a couple of times the Lowe’s rep gave the adults $10 off $50 coupons after the class was over.

I’ve found some Lowes coupons in the weekly ad mailers too, but they’re pretty rare. Those mailers tend to have Harbor Freight coupons each week, plus there always seems to be a HF ad in the Sunday paper. One weekend I ran across a stack of Sunday papers in a community recycling bin and ended up with 30 20% off HF coupons. I’ve yet to use them all! :)

That’s good to know about those Saturday clinics. Are they free?
Would it be weird if I showed up without a kid?

I would like to learn how to build a birdhouse :)

Also check aisles other than the tool section.
They can basically be any where in the store. I found some in a pack of CFLs.

EVERY Post Office in the US has a MOVING KIT – free – get the kit – it has a 10% of off $500 or more AND Home Depot will honor Lowes discounts, and I would guess visea versa ?

  6. Stuart says:

That actually is most certainly not true anymore. Many US Post Offices no longer offer these Lowes movers coupons in the change of address promo packets. This is because people were taking the packets by the dozens to sell the coupons on ebay.

Home Depot does in some cases accept competitors coupons, but conditions tend to vary from store to store. At my local HD, fraudulent coupons have become such a problem that they only accept mailed coupons. If it’s paper or even looks like it was printed from the internet, it cannot be used.
