We’re not quite sure what’s going on, but Small Parts appears to be cleaning out their stock of hex bolts. We’re seeing grade 5 and grade 8 fastener packs selling for ridiculously low amounts – in some instances as much as 50% lower than other retailers’ bulk prices.
To get started, here’s a search for grade 5 fasteners. From there, you can try different search terms until you find what you want, but also keep in mind that certain sizes may already be sold out.

I checked it out and they are at super prices but they only have one or two of each item. Fortunately for me I needed some for my truck so I made a small order.
I would like to order, but I don’t even know where to start. I wish they had like a sampler pack with an assortment of sizes.

That’s a good point – after splurging for Prime membership, I sometimes forget about the $25 minimum.
I started off by ordering a few of the larger/longer sizes that I’d hate to have to pay big-box store prices on should I suddenly need them for a future project.
Then I added a few packets of stainless steel socket head cap screws to my order and called it a day.
I had no idea there was such a thing as grade 9. It is considerably more expensive, of course.
I ordered:

With free shipping & tax it was only 0.05945 each
6 cents each! Excellent bargain!

We also recently received our order. A few of the baggies were slightly worn with one or two being torn open a little, but all the bolts were there. It’s clear that these packages were sitting on the warehouse shelves for a while.
I just checked again this morning and everything is gone.

You are right. I don’t know what I was looking at. Most are gone though. I only see a few Grade 8′s left. Mostly Grade 2
