Grant’s Whisky is holding a Real DIY Stories competition and are looking for DIYers to share stories about projects they’ve built to stand the test of time. The grand prize is a cool $10,000, so all you DIYers out there should definitely get started on your entries!
Once you submit an entry about your project, you’re going to want to ask your friends and family to vote for it. The 5 projects with the most votes proceed to the final round, which will be judged by DIY expert Karl Champley and a Grant’s Whisky representative.
To enter, describe your project, your inspiration, and why you think it will stand the test of time for future generations to enjoy. Images such as photographs, plans, or drawings, are optional, but may help you get votes. Finalist projects will be judged solely on the story you tell.
There are also some nice prizes that all voters are automatically entered to win:
- 1st prize – 3 winners will each win a Backyard Theater Package
- 2nd prize – 5 winners will each receive a Refrigerated Beverage Cart
- 3rd prize – 10 winners will each receive a Grant’s branded fire pit.
