I cannot say this with certainty, but the grinder was most likely not made in the USA.
The ones they sell at HD are made in China, I think Milwaukee gave up quite a while ago and moved production overseas to China.
I was lusting over their right angle drill for ages, never could justify to buy one but every time I was in HD I checked where it was made and it said US made.
But when I finally could justify buying it, I realized I was always just looking at the years old display model and the ones they actually sell are made in China.
I tried to buy the display model from several different HD`s but they did not let me have it.
