Reader James sent us a tip that Milwaukee’s M12 impact driver kit (2450-22) is on sale for $99 via Amazon, and other retailers such as Buy.com and CPO-Milwaukee. The kit includes the tool, charger, and 2 12V Lithium Ion batteries, plus a carrying case.
James also informed us that the Milwaukee 2497-22 hammer drill and impact driver combo kit (check price & features via Amazon) is being bundled with a bonus oscillating mulit-tool (details) at some stores, for the same $199 price. He sent us a link to the special combo, but Home Depot has since taken it down, saying the product is no longer available.
James checked two Home Depots near him. One had zero of the special combo kits on display, the other had four. He wants to remind others to make sure the multi-tool bonus is included since the SKU(175608) is the same for combos with and without it.

Our thoughts are that the bonus multi-tool combo may be a Black Friday special that was not supposed to be put up online yet or on display in stores. We have seen this to be the case with at least one other product this month, the Leatherman Wingman, which is reportedly in stores but not available for purchase yet.

I stopped by my local HD this AM and picked up the 3-tool combo for $199, as advertised. Last weekend the Milwaukee rep was in there talking about what a great deal this was, and I couldn’t pass it up.
I got the last one, though, so hopefully your HD has some in stock. Otherwise, you can order it online. But I talked with online customer service yesterday and they only had 52 left in stock, nationally.
