I love to watch these robot videos.
I always wonder how much of the manufacturing of power tools is automated.
If it’s mostly made by a robot, I sometimes wonder why it matters where something is made.
Quality control, metallurgical parameter refinement and quality control, quality of raw materials, etc.
With little oversight, a contracted overseas factory may try to cut corners to minimize their production costs. Proper supervision helps avoid this – the right company with the right management can still produce quality tools overseas.
