Channellock just came out with a new style of ratcheting wrenches. Each wrench features four ratcheting box end sizes, making the tools great for compact and on-the-go tool kits. There are two sets, SAE and metric, and each set includes two wrenches that cover a 8 wrench sizes.
We have a set of Channellock’s new ratcheting wrenches for testing, and our early impression is a very positive one. We definitely like them a LOT better than other all-in-one wrenches, such as the Ready Wrench and similar Dog Bone style wrenches, and the fact that they ratchet and are made in the USA is a big plus.
These sets are about $35 via Channellock, so expect them to sell for a little less when they hit online distributors and retail stores.

“Channellock just came out with a new style of ratcheting wrenches.” Do you mean new to them or new style altogether? I’ve had a set of the craftsman equivalent for about 3 years now and they work awesome… and were CHEAP ($25 combined for SAE and Metric).

Sorry about that, you’re right, these wrenches are new to them rather than just being new. I’ve seen the Craftsman versions before, and am looking into who the OEM is for the hands-on review of the Channellocks.
there is no 15mm
I have a old VW and that thing is held together with 13 and 15mm
I have a set of these type of wrenches, but mine are Gear Wrench brand. While the Channellock are similar to the Craftsman, the GW’s are designed as low-profile, more rounded, full polish wrenches. I would compare them to a normal box wrench.
I keep a set in my all my vehicles. Any time a tool can serve a dual, if not a quad purpose you’re ahead of the game.

The GearWrench have a finer action, full-polish finish, but I went with the Craftsman set because they’re made in the USA.
If the UPC on the packaging starts with 077769 – then the OEM is Kastar (A&E Inc.)

025582 xxxxxx – would seem to be Channellock’s regular UPC – so the UPC provides nothing to say that there is a different OEM. The UPC lookup sometimes works pretty well when you look at tools that bear house-brand names lile Kobalt, TaskForce, Workforce, Husky, Craftsman etc. – but the OEM is Easco (Danaher) or Pratt-Read, Midwest etc. It can also be a clue when the supplier is switched – like Kobalt (Lowes) steel toolboxes which used to be made by Waterloo in the US and are now made by someone else in China.
