This new Craftsman plunge router (27669) is equipped with a digital LCD readout for quicker variable speed adjustment by eliminating guesswork when changing bits and work materials.
The router features a 12.0A 2.25HP and 12k-25k RPM variable speed motor, soft-start circuitry to provide more control when starting the tool at full speed, rack and pinion height adjustment, 4-position depth stop with micro-adjust knob, electronic feedback control, a removable vacuum adapter and chip shield.
At first glance, the router looks to be well designed, and the digital readout looks convenient. If you already know what speed you want to use, you can always override the recommended settings manually.
