After scoping out the holiday tool gift section at the local Home Depot with my wife, we spotted some new gift cards near the checkout counter. I typically don’t pay much attention to gift card holders and seasonal designs, but these new cards caught my eye and were actually pretty neat.
Bubble Level
For $3 extra, you get a gift card holder that features built-in bubble levels. I can’t speak of the accuracy of the levels, but it should be handy in a pinch. Add in credit card-sized reference cards or a multi-tool card for an even better gift.
Homer Paint Bucket & Paint Can
After spotting a gift card holder that resembed Home Depot’s iconic orange Homer paint buckets, I let out a little chuckle. This metal paint can gift card holder looks cool too, but the Homer looked a bit cooler.
Personalized Video Card
This one allows you to upload a quick video for your gift card recipient that they can access from home. I’m not sure how it works, but it seems like a fun idea.
