Comparing different battery types (Li-Ion, NiMH, alkaline) is a can of worms that I would prefer to not open.

I'm still trying to sort through my hands-off impression of the Tek4 tool system, so I won't go into too much detail just yet. My mixed feelings are in regard to whether some of the Tek4 tools are recommendable.

Ryobi is not a beginner when it comes to cordless tools and battery systems, so I have no doubt that the battery aspect will be top-notch. Well, at least as top-notch as a mid-level brand will provide, of course.

In short, my mixed feelings are in regard to the tools themselves. Once I've given this a bit more thought, a new detailed editorial will be posted about the matter.

I was wondering if rechargeable batteries would do the job of the 4v pack... what is the difference?

So...are your mixed feeling about a specific tool or the combo?
Or is it about the battery?
please let me know!
thanks
