Sog PowerLock Multi-Tools

Sog PowerLock EOD Multitool

I’ve added a new multi-tool to my daily carry rotation – a Sog PowerLock EOD. It’s quite different in design than the Leatherman Wave I typically carry, so it should be interesting to see how the Sog fares in comparison. Most notably, the tool is somewhat larger than anticipated, and its included leather sheath is enormous!

Are you a Sog fan? Would love to hear your opinions!

My SOG has been used daily for a year. Its much better than the Gerber that proceded it. The tool guards are a real pain at times, though. The blade holds it’s edge well and the pliers grip very well. My hands are large enough that the handle reach is not a problem. Get extra clips for the 1/4 inch drive spade as sockets with burrs on the drive hole will remove them and you may not notice till you’ve lost it.
