15 Cheapo Flashlights for $15 at Home Depot

15 LED Flashlights for 15 Dollars

Over at my local Home Depot, I spotted a display of 15 cheap flashlights for $15. Each flashlight features 6 LEDs, and batteries are included. These are similar to the generic flashlights sold at Amazon, Meritline, and Harbor Freight.

These flashlights aren’t reliable enough to count on in an emergency situation, nor are they durable enough for daily use. I don’t trust them, but I can think of a few uses for 15 cheap flashlights.

Looks like you got a nice score on those. I always say, you can never have too many flashlights.

I didn’t buy a set myself; the above photo was taken from Home Depot’s online advertisement for the set.

Strapping them to remote control cars or (hobby-level) autonomous robots, giving away to Halloween trick or treaters, using as a battery depleter, and that’s about it.

Or if you ahve a harbor freight nearby you could use the free flashlight coupons, they seam near endless, I already have 6 free ones and have 3 more coupons on our kitchen counter. They are decent, metal body and 9 LEDs and includes 2 AAA’s.

I have a ton of similar cheapies from HF around the house. Although not super powerful, they are very handy.
    Examples:
In office desk for when I need to crawl under/behind to plug/unplug/mess with computer case, get dropped pencil under desk, etc – at home and work
1 or 2 in each tool box in garage/house, etc.
    1 in my bike pouch.
1 in my car glove box/wife’s car – maps/digging in console or under seats/etc.
1 in my nightstand drawer for quick grab if I don’t want to grab the maglight.
1 in my shaving kit – use it in dark hotel rooms or in-laws house (unfamiliar paths to the restroom) so I don’t have to turn on lights in the middle of the night.
1 by the front door to put in my pocket when taking the dog on a walk.
1 or 2 in my hunting bag for going to/from the deer stand
    1 in my tackle box
Give to friends/family for stocking stuffers because they see how much I use them and want them too.
