New DAP 3.0 Sealants with “Kwik Dry”

DAP has recently released a new series of sealants and caulks with Kwik Dry that can be exposed to water in just 3 hours instead of 24-36. Not only that, these DAP 3.0 sealants provide an improved waterproof and weatherproof seal and are expected to respond exceptionally well to temperature fluctuations.

DAP 3.0 Advanced sealants are available in the following formulations:

• All-Purpose Sealant
• Kitchen & Bath Adhesive Caulk
• Self-Leveling Concrete Sealant
• Gutter & Flash Sealant
• Blacktop & Roof Sealant

It looks like the days of having to shut down high-traffic areas of a home (e.g. the shower) following sealant application may soon be over. We have high expectations for these new sealants, and plan on putting them through a thorough evaluation over the course of several upcoming projects.
