Wera Koloss Hammer Ratchet Has Arrived!

Wera’s new Koloss 1/2″ drive hammer ratchet has finally arrived! I received a sample from ChadsToolbox that I’m currently testing, but I just couldn’t wait that long to post some teaser pics of it. Check out the gallery at the end of this post!

First Impressions:

1. Oh wow, that’s a comfortable handle.
2. hmm, it’s pretty well balanced.
3. WOW, the ratchet mechanism feels strong and solidly built. Wera may be onto something with their claims of the Koloss’s indestructibility!

At least it’s finally clear that the Koloss isn’t just an elaborate April Fools Day hoax or Photo-chopped rendering!

And to those worried about the condition of the ratchet, don’t worry, it has now been reassembled and is in perfect working condition.
