Bosch PS41-2A Pocket Lithium Ion Impact Driver

Bosch’s PS41-2A 12V pocket impact driver has just started popping up at online retailers. This update to Bosch’s PS40 impact driver is not as huge of a step forward compared to PS21 Pocket Driver and PS31 Compact Corded Drill, but it’s still quite an improvement.

As we mentioned in our sneak peak a few months ago, compared to the older PS40, the PS41-2A boasts greater torque and higher speeds in a smaller body. The PS41 also features a battery gauge, a redesigned body, and a new 3-LED ring light.

The PS41-2A kit includes two 12V-max batteries, and a charger.

I would love to have one of these. I wish they didn’t cost so much.

It may be more cost effective to buy just the tool if you already have a Bosck 10.8V or 12V compact cordless tool, or spring for a 2 or 3 piece set.

Bosch definitely has an edge in the compact cordless driver market right now, but there are a few other decent compact impact drivers available by other brands as well.

I just bought one and compared with my 18V Bosch Impact(or) Driver. I would say that in a normal conditions as a home owner, this is just what you need. This PS41-2A is perfect for all little jobs in your household and ladies love it too because it is very small, but so powerful that they can handle this tool very well. This is a gift to my 9 year old son.

Wow what a wonderful tool! they had a combo pack with this and the drill. Remodeling kitchen and it is used every day. Lights on the drill poorly placed but workable.

Lights on driver perfect! Wonderful small light tool!
