The new “L-Boxx” from Bosch is an intelligent solution for the transport and storage of power tools, accessories and consumables. It is perfectly suited to the requirements of mobile working. New Bosch products from the range of professional blue power tools come complete with the L-Boxx.

The L-Boxx was developed in cooperation with Sortimo, the market leader for in-vehicle equipment, and therefore offers the professional many advantages: the innovative click system makes it easy to connect and separate any number of boxes, which are then comfortable to carry even when stacked. This saves time and effort, and also makes it possible to transport multiple power tools at the same time. In addition to this, the user can individually configure the inside of the box using the sturdy, modular inlays from Bosch and Sortimo. The professional tradesman is considerably more flexible with the L-Boxx than with other conventional carrying case solutions on the market. It offers space for tidy storage in the mobile workshop.

Due to the unique system approach of the L-Boxx, it fits the German TÜV-tested in-vehicle equipment system from Sortimo perfectly and without an adapter. The L-Boxx is therefore quickly, tidily and also safely stowed in the vehicle. In combination with the Sortimo equipment system, the L-Boxx offers optimum securing of cargo and high occupant protection, even in extreme situations.

The L-Boxx with its robust construction is designed to withstand extreme loads. Every single box can carry up to 25 kg. The click mechanism makes it possible to carry multiple L-Boxxes stacked together and weighing up to 40 kg in total. Its lid is designed to withstand loads of up to 100 kg. The two smaller versions of the L-Boxx not only have the carrying handle on the top, they also have a second handle positioned on the front. Individual, separate boxes can therefore by carried just as easily as conventional carrying cases. Bosch offers the L-Boxx in four different sizes, and they are also available empty or filled with accessory sets.

They look really trick. I hope that they include them with a new tool instead of a separate purchase. One of the pictures has a designed label for the tool in the box so I’m hopeful.

Personally I feel like it takes up too much space.

I’m not sure what the story will be, but I hope that they’re included with new tools and are available for purchase separately.

As for the cases taking up too much space, Bosch and other brands’ current cases are sometimes much larger!

We’ve already had them for some time in the UK and they are available separately as well as coming with new tools. If you already have L-Boxxes you can buy naked tools and kits in cardboard boxes which come with an L-Boxx insert.

We made a video demo of the L-Boxxes which can be viewed here:

They look pretty sweet. Much better than a blow-molded case or a canvas bag.
