Popular Woodworking has reported that Stanley Black & Decker is set to sell its Delta brand to TOTY, a Taiwanese company that currently produces many benchtop power tools for Black & Decker, Craftsman, and Ryobi.

The new company, Delta Power Equipment, will be run by Bryan Whiffen, who is currently listed as a senior VP for product development at Techtronic Industries North America (TTI). TTI currently owns Mikwaukee, AEG (maker of Ridgid power tools), and Ryobi.

Delta Power Equipment will continue producing “top-notch woodworking equipment” and their new operations will be based out of Anderson County, South Carolina.
