Schaller Plastic Bin Toolbox Organizers

Edit/Update: Here are two example photos of how I’m using these storage bins.

I have been using a few Schaller plastic bins in 2″ and 3″ sizes for parts storage, and when checking prices for a reorder I noticed that they now offer 1″ tall bins! So of course I went ahead and ordered a huge assortment of the new 1″ bins. I have been using them to compartmentalize a few of my tool box drawers, and find them to be excellent for small tool organization!

I will be using the 1″ bins to organize taps, loose drill bits, tweezers, probes & picks, loose hex keys, socket adapters, and various other small tools that are currently kept in larger unsorted bins. Most of the 2″ bins I ordered will likely go towards organizing the assortment of bolts that I ordered during last year’s Amazon deal.

These bins are made in the USA from high-impact polystyrene, and the prices are very reasonable. I very highly recommend Schaller Plastic Boxes!

While I do use food containers for occasional tool/parts/accessory storage, they’re much larger than these boxes, and are also often irregularly shaped.

These look cool, I got a bunch of Akro bins free that I have used for small parts, but these look awesome for organizing drawers.

I love these things. I have a vintage map cabinet that I use for small hardware. A little dab of hot melt glue on the bottom helps keep them from sliding around too much.
