Milwaukee M12 Cordless Ratchets 1/4 and 3/8

Milwaukee’s M12 cordless ratchets are due to hit store shelves in a month or two.  Thus far I think the ratchets’ design and specs both look decent, but I’ll reserve making any stronger judgement until I can check ’em out in person.

In the meantime, take a look at this sneak peek demo video by our friends over at ToolsinAction.

And here’s a link to our Milwaukee M12 Ratchet preview once more, with details and specs about the new tools.

This may end up being a Christmas present to myself. I like the looks so far and have good luck with the M12 line in total.

Yowsa! Who’s the guy manually torquing at 1:15? Can you say over torqued?

I’m quite excited about these as well, although I don’t have much practical use for them.

At ~1:15, that’s Ethan from OneProjectCloser. During tool-testing, there’s no such thing as over-torquing! Well, that’s not entirely true, but in the same position I probably would have done the same to test the feel of the tool.

Stuart, since when do you buy tools so much for need……..as for want? Isn’t that part of most our tool purchases, buy it then find a need after. Or use it a few years later and think “well I knew I’d need that sometime!”

Well, I have everything I need and then some. Buying tools that I wanted for specific projects or just to check out helped lead to the creation of ToolGuyd.

Besides, the hobbies that I’ve purchased most of my tools for have budget demands as well!

Stuart, we just got our first shipment of the Milwaukee ratchets. They did not last 5 minutes and they were instantly resold. I was not even able to get a look at the finished product.

Wow, that’s pretty good news, thanks for the update! I’m eager to see how well it performs, and if it’s low-profile enough for most applications.
