We have put together a photo gallery of Dewalt’s new LED flashlights, which are due to be released around January 2012. We did have a couple of minutes of hands-on demo time with these flashlights about two weeks back, and found them to be absolutely spectacular. The build quality was excellent, the design was well-though out, and the LED modules were bright, white, and well focused.
Once these flashlights hit the retail market, we’ll take a closer more detailed look to see if anything has changed from the pre-production models we previewed. If nothing changes, the 2XAA model will probably make it onto our list of the 5 Best LED Flashlights under $20, which we’ll probably have to rename.

I love the toolguyd mobile website I check it every day on my phone. I’m new the site so I’m just curious, why is there so many articles on flash lights? It seems like every day there is something about a flash light. Is this just something recent or do you guys do this all the time? Thanks- drew

Normally I like to spread topics out, but last week was supposed to be an unofficial LED flashlight week, so the clustering was intentional. This week, the LED-related topics came up naturally, but coverage seems denser due to last week’s coverage.
And to be honest, there are still 7 LED flashlight-related and 3 work-light related posts and reviews in the queue that have been postponed to avoid excessiveness.
