3-in-One-No-Rust-Shield

3-in-One’s new product is called the No-Rust Shield. The No-Rust Shield is designed to offer rust and corrosion protection for a DIYers’ tools and equipment. The unit protects exposed metal objects in enclosed spaces without harmfully affecting their electrical, mechanical, and chemical properties.

The 3-in-One No-Rust Shield works by releasing “metal-seeking vapor phase corrosion inhibitors” that form sealing layers on metal surfaces. This VpCI coating thus creates a barrier between a tool’s surface and air or moisture in its environment.

The No-Rust Shielf depletes itself in about 90 days once activated, and is priced at $5 each. The No-Rust Shield can be used to protect tools, toolboxes, firearms, boat and RV components, and other metals in enclosed spaces.

    This looks like camphor in a fancy package. Camphor is an old machinists trick for preventing tools from rusting. It’s available at your local drug store (or ebay):
