Acme Tools Flash Sale 8-23-2022

Acme Tools is having a flash sale on hand tools, power accessories, and tool storage products.

Today only, 8/23/22, save 15% on eligible products with promo code TOOL15. The maximum allowable discount is $100 per order.

Shop Acme Tools’ Flash Sale!

To put it bluntly, 15% off select hand tools is a good discount, but not very exciting.

I almost didn’t take a closer look at the promo details, but I did, and saw that there are a lot of good tools and accessories eligible for this promo, including select Milwaukee Packout and ToughSystem tool storage products.

Milwaukee’s Packout 2-drawer and 3-drawer tool boxes are included in the promo, with 15% off amounting to discounts of $22.35 and $24.60 off the respective tool boxes’ $149 and $164 price tags.

The Packout 3 tool box combo is $270 after coupon, with free shipping.

This promo takes the Dewalt ToughSystem 2.0 2-drawer tool box from $120 down to $102.

A surprising number of tool boxes and storage accessories are included in this offer.

Not interested in modular tool boxes? Here’s more of what’s on sale today:

It has been a while since I’ve seen the standard 3pc combo sell for that low.

ToolNut is doing 15% off on Makita (excludes XGT)

My ex-compatriots tell me that the Acme deal is good on both Ridgid and Sumner pipe welding clamps and they used it to pick up a few.

The Dewalt selection is not deals it’s the same list price amazon is running so it’s just a Milwaukee inventory clearance push.

The Ridgid #57258 clamp seems to sell for as low as $182 on the internet. Acme has it for $187.99 – but 15% off brings it to $159.79

So, the deal can be OK – not just for Milwaukee stuff

The post went up 8/23, and our “daily updates” newsletter went out 8/23 on time at 11am ET.

I checked, using the email address you supplied with your comment, and you’re NOT on the list, and NEVER were! So, I’m not sure what list you want to be taken off of, since you’re not subscribed to any that I can see.

If you’re first seeing this post today, it must be via some other means. Consider checking the website regularly, or sign up for our actual newsletter.

I’m sorry, but there’s a limit as to what I can do to ensure you see time-sensitive posts while they’re still valid. For instance, when there’s a post too late to make the daily newsletter cutoff, I’ll usually push a second newsletter to ensure subscribers don’t miss out.

As you’re not a subscriber, I’m curious to know what list you’re referring to.

I’ve tried three times to order tools from acme. First; ordered a porter cable cordless recip saw, got a brad nailer, sent it back got a recip with a broken tool collar. My local Ace handled the exchange as a manufacturer defect. Second; ordered a makita roto-hammer, it was quite obvious that someone had used it, sprayed it off good with a hose and it was sold as new merchandise. Nope, of course it didn’t operate. Third, just to make sure, 14 oz stiletto titanium framing hammer ($70 to lighten up them bags), came complete with overstrike marks. Is it really a good sale if your personal experience is that they sell used stock? And each time they tried getting me on a restocking fee. Pay now or pay later, there’s no such thing as a free lunch.

That’s strange. I’ve never received used tools from Acme or been asked to pay a restocking fee for a return. If this happens again (to you or anyone), please keep me in the loop!
