Acme Tools July 4th 2022 Sale

Over at Acme Tools, their July 4th, 2022 sale just went live a few days early. Today and tomorrow, save 10% on $199+ orders of select items.

There’s a maximum discount of $100, and the coupon won’t stack with other promotions. The promo ends 11:59pm CT 7/1/2022. The coupon code is BOOM.

Here are Acme Tools’ brand and SKU exclusions: Acme Tools’ fine-print. They offer free ground shipping on $199+ orders.

As usual, promos like this work great on higher ticket tools (such as jobsite table saws and cordless combo kits), and especially tools or gear that are never or infrequently discounted.

A lot of new products are eligible for the savings, including from Dewalt and Milwaukee Tool. For instance, Dewalt’s new ratchets and cordless vac are eligible, and so are Milwaukee’s new Shockwave impact socket plus Packout case and insert sets, their new 1/4 sheet orbital sander, wrenches, and more.

ToolUp seems to have a similar deal – using promo code ANYDEAL

    https://www.toolup.com/

I tried the Acme BOOM code to preorder some of the new M12 batteries – but they seem to be excluded

The M12 HO batteries aren’t available for purchasing or pre-ordering at all yet.

Acme seemed to let me put both (2.5 and 5.0Ah) of the new M12 batteries in my cart – and a $10 off coupon (TCC10) was OK – but not the 10% off Boom Coupon. I did not pull the trigger to see if the pre-order would go through

I can’t comment as to what you’re seeing, but for me the pre-order button is greyed out.

I had both items saved to my wish list – and used the wish list to add them to my cart. So, I don’t know why that worked rather that what you were seeing.

10% off doesn’t make those batteries a remotely good deal anyways. $72 for 3x 18650 cells and $108 for 6x. $108 for a 2.5 + 5.0 would be a passable deal, but still not great. 3.0 + 6.0 has been $90-$100 many times over the years.

There will be much better promotions after all the short-sighted marketing hype wears off.

ToolUp has the M18 mower on sale for $899, and the 10% ANYDEAL promo code works with it, taking it down to $809.10

Just tried and it says that coupon does not apply to item in the cart on the mower.

Try adding a regular priced item to your cart. You need to have at least one regular priced item in your cart.

I looked at some of their Dewalt tools and pricing seems to be all over the place at various retailers. $200 for the multi-tool kit at Acme and Lowes, $150 at Home Depot, $115 on Amazon. Lots of other strange pricing on the same tool(s).

Amazon direct price is $179. The other prices are from 3rd party sellers, presumably the ones that bought it for $99 during the 2021 Black Friday or winter holiday promotional period.

Pardon me if this is out of place but Toolnut has 15% off any Milwaukee products through noon 7/2, seems to work with batteries as well as accessories and consumables. Much better deal. Just ordered an M18 brad nailer.

What’s with the “July 4th sale”, but ending before the holiday weekend even starts?
