More Black Friday 2019 Tool Deals
A lot of what we see here are typical “special buys,” such as the $99 M12 cordless drill and impact driver combo kit. Still, there are some very good deals.
For example, the M18 Fuel brushless hammer drill and impact driver kit plus Packout promo will be $299. The price of the M18 fuel tool kit by itself is typically $399. So, you save some money and get a Packout tool box. AND, with this deal you’re getting a free M18 5.0Ah battery as an added bonus. If you were planning to upgrade to Milwaukee’s top cordless drill and impact driver, this is the special buy for you.
There are also new Makita cordless power tool combo kits this year – a 6-tool combo kit for $299, and an 8-tool combo kit for $399. You have to look carefully at what you get, and determine whether or not you’re interested in the kit configurations. But, these kits so give you high bang for the buck.
Acme’s “buy a Dewalt 20V Max starter kit and get 2 free bare tools” promo also looks to be a very good value. $299 for the starter kit isn’t a good price, but the choice of freebies makes it worth it. For example, I might choose the Dewalt brushless jig saw and brushless circular saw as my bonus tools. Those two tools retail for $199 and $159 respectively. So, buy the starter kit for $299, and you get $358 in tools for free.
Home Depot also has a free bonus cordless tools promo as part of their Black Friday deals, but the selection of free bonus tools mainly includes lower-valued brushed motor or brushless power tools.
As always, we’ll keep an eye out for any new deals, as there are bound to be some unadvertised specials and promos. Lastly, please let me know if you have any questions or deal requests!
Any thoughts on the flex hepa vacuum? Comparable to the festool?
Lots of user feedback in these posts:
Generally, it seems everyone likes it.
Update: Tyler Tool Link for Reference
I bought the Flex a while back from Acme, on special. It arrived missing parts. They referred me on to the manufacturer. Didn’t trouble to answer my followup request. So it’s not always about price, service counts, too.
I’m sorry to hear that. If in your shoes I would have asked Acme for a return and exchange, or asked them for their Flex contact info. I’ve got a pretty low tolerance for non-responsive service these days.
$249 other places Currently. It is good though.

I just bought one from Tylertool for 250. I also have the festool smaller one I forget the model name. Both great, festool hose is better but also way more money. If you have questions I can try to answer
It’s a rebranded Nilfisk. Nilfisk and Starmix are more or less interchangeable with Festool. Creature comforts will vary.
I only chose Festool because bags and filters are twenty minutes away.
Makita combo kit in the packout with extra battery is a good deal.
Milwaukee I meant
The DWS716 with free stand looks tempting. But the description states that it has an led cut line, which should only be part of the DWS716xps. Maybe acme’s description is wrong, or the package actually includes the xps model? Your link is correct by the way, it’s just acme’s description which doesn’t make sense.
The model number says DWS716 specifically, and so I’m assuming the references in the product description are a copy/paste error, and that it does not have the LED cut line system. I’ll see what I can find out.
I confirmed that the deal will be on the DWS716. The product description mention of XPS/LED cutline system is in error.
Thank you so much for following up!
The Dewalt 20v Sander Kit (2ah, Charger) with XR Jigsaw for $199 seems like a very good deal.
I got a Bosch barrel grip JS572EBK for $172 and still have a few days on the return window.
How is the blade tracking on the XR Jigsaw?
Back in the day, I had a Bosch corded. Unbelievable how well it tracked.
I’ve owned three Dewalt cordless, an 18v, the DCS331 and the new DCS334. None of them even come close. But, they are cordless.
Plus $25 off for the 25DEWALT PROMO code
Well, I bought Milwaukee fuel combo 7 tools for $850 at home Depot. It’s good deal
I was already planning on getting that Dewalt jigsaw, but that deal is too good!
Probably will snag.
Thanks so much for the heads up!!
@Stuart — can you tell which oscillating tool is featured as an option with the $299 dewalt kit?
Cpo outlets has the DeWalt 20v router for $159 with a free 5ah battery and $25 off/free shipping.
So $144 out the door and PayPal took off an extra $17 ($127!!!) for reasons I’m not sure of…
I’m glad to see the return of Jet parallel clamp deals, but I can’t seem to make it work on their website.
It’s not just you. I checked and it’s adding them at full price, no freebies in the cart even after I sign in. Don’t know.
I had a heck of a time placing an order yesterday as well. It would just hang when I submitted the order, no errors, just looked like it was processing (screen said submitting…). Tried on two iOS devices, one OSX and one Win10, no go. Very frustrating. Then I changed the payment to PayPal and it went through. Don’t know if they fixed it or it was some odd combination of steps, my account or what, just strange. The CC info was fine and no issue with the CC account either. If anyone is having a similar issue with ACME, hopefully that helps.
The Jet Clamp deal seems to only work on the 24″, is that correct? Or are there any others it works on?
Ah, you’re right, I see it on the 24”. Looks like they made a mistake and didn’t set up the promotion on the 12 and 31. Probably need to call in the order so they can apply the discount. Or just place the order first, then call and get it adjusted (so you don’t lose out on whatever is in stock).
you’re right, calling is probably the best move
It’s possible they exceeded allowable quantities, or it could be a glitch.
I called and was told they sold out already. Surprising because I was checking at midnight central time, and the 24 inch clamps went active with the deal but the other two sizes never showed the promotion. Pretty annoying if they “sold out” immediately after going live. I may keep an eye on it to see if it changes though.
31 seems available now
All 3 sizes are showing the promotion at this time and all are in stock.
Dewalt blower kit at Acme looks to be sold out.
