Acme Tools has kicked off their Jump Start Black Friday sales event, which is basically a parallel to brick and mortar retailers’ early Black Friday and holiday gift center tool deals.
As usual, some of the deals are decent, depending on what you’re looking for.

No, there’s nothing really surprising – yet – but that’s true every year. I’ll take a closer look to see if there are any especially compelling deals.
If you browse the deals and come across anything noteworthy, please let me know!
Acme is advertising a Dewalt 20V Max XR brushless 3-speed oscillating multi-tool kit with a “price too low to show!”

They’ve got the Dewalt DCS356C1 OMT kit on sale for $99.
I’ve posted about this deal before, and it’s always a good buy. This promo comes around once or twice a year and is a “special buy” kit that includes Dewalt’s premium cordless oscillating multi-tool, a charger, compact battery (usually 1.5Ah), and kit bag.
This kit doesn’t give you a whole lot in the form of accessories, but the tool itself is the big value, compared to the price of the bare tool (usually $100+ by itself), or the regular full kit.

Acme Tools also has the Dewalt DCS354D1 kit on sale for $99.
Acme has the usual Dewalt and Milwaukee free bare tool (or battery) bonus deals. Buy a select M18 Fuel 2-tool cordless power tool combo kit or Dewalt 20V Max tool, and choose your freebie.
There’s another deal – buy a select Milwaukee M18 tool or battery 2-pack, or a Dewalt 20V Max starter kit, and choose from other freebies.
There aren’t very many free gift choices right now, but the deals can work out in your favor if the check items off your tool shopping list.
Acme Tools has a couple of other tool deals going on right now:
- Free Bosch 8Ah battery with Profactor kit
- 20% off select Milwaukee M18 kits with $25 accessory purchase
- $100 off Bosch table saw and stand bundle (code TABLE100)

m12 jig and OMT for $149 with batteries and charger is pretty nice.
I have this OMT and it is not great but ridiculously portable. a good bundle for someone early in their journey with m12 but not wanting more duplicate drills

Curious if the Packout set pricing is setting the trend for this year- not sure if we’ll get to 199.00 like previous years, 229 isn’t awesome but I can accept it I guess, everything seems like it’s jump up 10-20%.
Brian Ash
Yeah doubt $199 will be seen this year unless you can use a coupon on top of the sale price. Raw material price increases and global shipping sky rocketing prices are to blame. I always grab many packout organizers during the holidays, the regular full one is maybe only $6 off for the season, not promising.

Whelp, Home Depot matched pricing without the $20 handling fee, so I guess I have a new camping box set:) Gotta love my wife – she complained about the Rigid gear I was using for our camping kitchen was hard to see inside being all black, so after using my packet gear once, she was cool with double the price!

Wait 199 for what packout setup? At my home depot theres the rolling box, large toolbox and crate combo for $199

Found this deal, haven’t done a price history but it seems good

Dewalt 4-tool combo (DCK421D2): $242.99
Stuart
That’s a decent deal.
It was $249 last year for Black Friday (2020).

FYI, I was at Tractor Supply early this morning and they had free tool/battery promos up for Dewalt, Porter Cable, and Makita. I also spotted one of the new Flexvolt grinders on the isle as well, so they seem to have some of the newer tools available.
