Over at Acme Tools, they have a $20 off $100+ Father’s day promo, ending 6/12/2019. There are some exclusions, such as on price-fixed products and specific brands.
But, it works on a whole lot of items, including some of the new tools that Milwaukee announced at NPS19:

Milwaukee M12 Surge Kit
Milwaukee M12 Surge Bare Tool
Milwaukee M18 Fuel Brad Nailer V2
New M12 Heated Gear
There are probably some others, but Acme Tools only has some preorder listings up now.
We’ve talked about the benefits and downsides of preordering tools before. If you’ve already added the Milwaukee M12 Surge hydraulic impulse driver to your shopping list, ordering it now gets you $20 off the kit and a spot near the front of the order fulfillment line.
Free shipping requires $199+. Ground shipping on orders under $199 is a flat rate of $6.49.

It’s uncertain as to whether there will be a better promo on the M12 Surge or M18 Fuel brad nailer Gen-2 before their estimated August 2019 ship dates. If a better promo becomes available, you *should* be able to cancel and reorder. Or, Acme Tools might be able to do a price adjustment as per their low-price guarantee.
Side Note: Someone mentioned yesterday that Milwaukee’s M12 rotary tool is never on sale. With this coupon, the kit goes from $119 to $99. Promos like this one are a good way to get a discount on tools that are rarely part of promos. Just be sure to double check competitor pricing. The M12 rotary tool kit seems to be $119 at all other Milwaukee dealers, and so $99 after coupon is a good deal.

Free shipping requiring over $199 has killed off a lot of these sort of Acme deals for me.

Same. $199 for free shipping means I no longer shop at Acme. I really liked them too, but their shipping is too expensive. It is now significantly cheaper to get the same tool elsewhere when you factor in the total cost to get it to your door.

Their shipping isnt too bad, ToolUp is far worse.

When buying for myself (little and far in-between these days) or for gifts – I still like to price shop – looking at price + sales tax +shipping.
I often look at:
Acme
Burns Tool
Coastal Tool
MaxTool
Ohio Power Tool
Toolbarn
Tool Up
Tool Nut
ToolsPlus
Zoro (when the are having a 25% off sale)

$149 for the M12 bare tool is pretty steep. The M18 version is the same price. One of the benefits to the 12v line was a cheaper price. Not so here.

Referring to the Surge drivers

Yo Lance! ? yeah word I bought m18 surge bare tool for under $150 w/o any price checking loved it until a bit got stuck (took drill completely apart wouldn’t come out!? Impulse drivers are interesting internally) so as much as I want this and love acme unfortunately the price is NOT even close to right. I use my m12 gen2 impact every single day LOVE it! It has more balls then my surge, & would love to have a “silent” version so that price and the theory that a 12v version can in no way have the power of its gen2 brother…W/ maybe a 4-6ah battery I would pull trigger but unless it drops down to about 129 bare it’s just not worth it yet comparing it big brother surge imo also

There is a weird way to combine this coupon. If you order some packout items and use the HOLEINONE code to get 10% off the packout things, and then have a $100+ of other items in your cart the fathers day code will also work to get the $20 off. It helped me get to the $199 free ship with good discounts.
david
FYI, the code will not work on the kits that offer a free bare tool such as the M12 fuel kit. If you add the promo code it takes away the free tool.
Trippy
The rotary tool is 79.99$ everyday at Home Depot.
Aaron
The non fuel combos come out to about $40 per bare tool, so anything you can get in a combo you can either part out or buy in eBay for much lower than the boxed bare tool price.
Aaron
Right now at HD there are two deals for the rotary. 4 tool combo for $199 with 3 batteries. Sell 3 tools for $40 (people will feel like they are getting a bargain) 3 batteries and charger for $15 each and stash the bag somewhere because nobody wants it. Net $20 for the rotary but with quite a bit of effort.
Deal 2 is less work: m12 fuel kit with free rotary tool, return the kit. Net ~$60 for the rotary tool
Or keep the kit, this is a bargain for the m12 fuel impact and hammer drill which is a favorite of mine
Stuart
For the bare tool. The kit is $120.

I believe it was April, every online retailer had a “flash sale” of several m12 kits for only $80 each, but the day they offered it varied (and I missed out with 3 retailers). The most popular were the rotary & the soldering kit, which even came with the blow molded case.
So it does go on sale, and actually it was my first Milwaukee tool ever, back from a HD BF sale of $49 eons ago. One of my least regrettable purchases.

I way I look at it is $20 off $100 = 20% off Good deal!
$199 minimum free shipping means $20 off $200 = 10% off. Mmmmm so so deal.
