Fine Print

There are typical brand exclusions, and a whole lot of exclusions on individual products that are price-fixed or promo-priced already. See the “fine print” link for full details.

Discount ends 2/14/2019.

Frankly, this would be a better deal of the minimum order amount were lower, and the maximum discount higher, but it’ll still give you good savings on some new power tools, storage products, equipment, or other eligible tools and tool-related products they carry.

I’m in Spring Cleanup mode, and so I’m not allowing myself to buy any new tools until I get things in order. What about you?

Fill in the blank: Wow, this is a great sale for me to finally buy that [______] that I’ve been needing!

Or, If this deal had a lower minimum order amount or higher savings cap, I’d buy a [_______].

Acme’s great, but I’d really appreciate it if they would just specifically mark each item on the site as eligible or ineligible for the additional discount, as opposed to giving a giant list of excluded model numbers listed without regard to category. Makes getting the best deal on a particular type of tool (like a table saw) a constant exercise in second guessing.

I was excited until I saw the WALL OF SERIAL NUMBERS that are excluded, then I lost interest. Not going to waste my time.

Those all seem to be specific Dewalt, Makita, and Milwaukee SKUs. It could definitely be better presented.

Oh, and Metabo HPT MultiVolt, since there are separate promos running on a lot of their tools right now.

I wonder how much Acme’s sales have gone down since they started excluding pretty much anything except a full priced regular item. I use to order everytime they had a coupon and have not ordered much from them the past 3 months.

This was a great opportunity for me to pickup an Occidental master carpenter case. I’m constantly trying to find the best way to carry the slew of tools needed for most of my carpentry and overall maintenance tasks. Tried the Veto pro pac XL but it wasn’t for me. A few other open top tool carriers that just weren’t organized enough. Hoping the Occidental will fit the bill for the core items I need often. Was tough to justify the cost, but 14% off and the glowing reviews on the web sealed the deal. I added a couple of Milwaukee packout trays that I needed anyway to hit the minimum. I too have been in tool organization mode, something made much easier with all of the packout items I picked up with the holiday special pricing.

Oooh! I tried the coupon on the Skilsaw table saw with free stand and Diablo blade. It worked! But I didn’t buy. I still think I’m better off with a track saw.
