The Ryobi 18ga brad nailer is $99 Tool only. Which is a better deal than any of the ryobi offerings here I think. I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger when they decide to put together a promotion package.

It goes down to $99 tool only on Father’s Day, Black Friday, etc. I have it, it’s awesome for things like trim work.
It’s also part of a combo kit includes admittedly very basic ryobi One+ tools including a drill, recip saw, 5.5″ circular saw, flashlight, and 2 1.5 Ah batteries with a slow charger. The kit is usually $300 but can get down to $200 on sale. I was initially very skeptical of the tiny cordless circular saw, but find myself using it all the time now. Wouldn’t use it on an all day project, but if you’re making a few cuts in 2x4s or repairing a few rotted deck boards, the convenience of not running an extension cord is hard to beat. If you need any of those tools, or don’t yet have Ryobi batteries/chargers, this kit seems to be the best bang for the buck.

I’ve got a Ridgid 18g nailer and it’s worked great so far. I saw a deal listed above that comes with a Ridgid 18g and 23g for $119. That’s pretty close to what I paid for the 18g a couple years ago.
