Another day closer to Black Friday 2020, and another random assortment of tool deals at Amazon – not that I’m complaining!
To start off, Channellock 12″ adjustable wrench are on sale. I very highly recommend Channellock’s adjustable wrenches. If you don’t need a 12″ size, get a smaller one. The 8″ is my favorite.

This is a VERY GOOD price on the Jet lathe.
On 11/24/2020, the Jet lathe was priced at $594.15, which is a very good price considering that it’s on sale at $700 at all other deals right now. Acme Tools has it for $700 and it sold out and is on backorder.
$594 is an excellent price for an item that other dealers have at for $700 on sale.
But $546.17? That’s even better! This Jet lathe seems to have mostly decent reviews, definitely read through them if you’re considering this model.

Your Klein Tools link needs editing.

Thanks! Sorry *fixed*.

Instead if the Wiha stubby multi-bit driver the new Klein extendable shft one looks interesting. I’ve bought a few for stocking stuffers:

Thanks Fred. I picked one up at HD.

FYI – the Komelon 16′ Self-Locking Tape Measure is regularly priced at $6 at Lowe’s.

That’s a different tape measure. Thanks! I added a “compare” link to the post – it’s good to have options.
Personally I’d go with the Amazon deal and free shipping. I also like the round button on the Amazon one – I believe I’ve got one around here somewhere. The Komelon at Amazon is usually $10 elsewhere. The Lowe’s deal (L4816HV) looks to be a holiday season “special buy” as I can’t seem to find any other store selling that model.

Not Amazon – but soemother emails came my way today:
ToolUp – $20 off any order over $200 use code BF20 – might be OK on non discounted items – and need to spend $219 to use coupon and get free shipping
Aircraft Tool Supply – 10% off – use code CYBER20
Racewax – 20%off – use code 2BF
Eagle America – use code BIG_BRAND10 for 10% off Olson, Milescraft, Freud, iGaging and Triton

I cannot say enough about the Channellock adjustable wrenches. I have the 8 inch and the 12 inch versions of these wrenches. My 8 inch goes with me everywhere. These wrenches have an extremely comfortable grip and the adjustment screw is very smooth. Plus the smaller wrench has a slim profile that seems to fit almost anywhere. I love these wrenches (I do prefer the smaller version just for ease of carrying / less space in my tool bag).
The Wera Maintenance set also looks like a fair price. I haven’t yet bit the bullet on Wera products mainly due to the price point, but all of the reviews including Stuart’s, tend to indicate that you get what you pay for with these tools – quality.

This may get me over the hump to buy one after having passed on it last year, and the 8 probably suits my needs.
If I could return the favor, I always struggle with the prices but couldn’t be happier with the Wera tools I have. By far my favorite screwdriver, Allen’s, and ratchet set and the half price advent calendar a couple months ago gets used all the time on my mountain bike bench. Tempted to grab this set too because I like a lot of what it had but just a few things I don’t have a use for. Until I do.
TheTool
Wera isn’t the best. They’re good but you need to try other brands instead of settling on just Wera.

The Gerber and CLC deals look good. I have a CLC bag for my work bag and it has been around for over a decade and held up well (thou minimal use for the last few years). That open top CLC would be nice for a caming or boat toolkit. or just grab and go around the house.

IMO, the Makita deal for the Hammer Drill w/ Vac, Drill/Driver Impact Bundle and the grinder I found linked off this post is really good. I will say that this would be better with a third battery; even if it meant 3 -4ah batteries. Actually a single 2ah for use with the impact driver (with the two 5ah batteries) would make this an exceptional bundle.

Einstein the GR8!
Anybody know of any good PB Swiss deals going on?
Stuart
Unfortunately, nothing yet.

Agree on the Channellock adjustable wrench. Just bought the 8″ version and it’s a whole different animal compared to the cheap, sloppy adjustable wrenches I’ve used in the past. I always viewed them as a necessary evil but this is a tool you’ll be proud to own and use.
Jeremiah Ducate
Agreed on the channel lock adjustable wrenches. I’ve had an 8″ for over ten years
A question, are the code blue the only made in spain/irega ones?
Are any of the bare metal handle wrenches of similar quality?
TheTool
They’re all Irega made.

I’ve moved on to ratcheting stubby bit drivers. I always have a large assortment of 1 inch bits and I can use longer bits and even extension to turn it into a much longer screwdriver. I love Genius’s compact size for their stubby and the ratcheting mechanism for the price. I also like their wobble extensions.
