We peeked around and found a couple of hot price drop deals over at Amazon. These sale prices should be valid throughout the entire weekend, and will be valid alongside a series of limited time lightning deals.

Be sure to check out Amazon’s new Tool & Home Improvement lightning deals!

What it seems to us is that Amazon is seeking to match or beat as many brick and mortar home improvement stores’ deals as possible. Hopefully this is the case and we’ll see more great deals throughout Cyber Monday and the rest of the holiday season.

FYI — I went into HD today and bought the fuel M12 impact and hammer drill. The prices are $10 cheaper each on CPO Milwaukee, but… The milwaukee rep gave me two free red lithium M12 batteries with the tools.

Sweet! Did you snag anything else while there?

I don’t think my local HD has even put any M12 Fuel tools on display yet. Glad you were able to get such a good deal!

I took a look online and checked their stock before I went in. They only had a few hiding in the shelves. My local HD has a massive milwaukee display, and has a milwaukee rep there 8-5 Monday through Friday. Yours may too? They’ve hooked me up with free batteries twice now.

I picked up a Pelican 0450 toolbox off craigslist the other day and plan to put tubes new m12 units in the bottom tray with some Fastcap Kaizen foam.

Didn’t see any other crazy deals yet, will check again tomorrow. I think the $25 off Makita is great, wanted to get a new compressor but unfortunately they don’t offer the discount on compressors. I’ll post if I find anything else.

CPO still seems to have the best price.

I meant these, not tubes — sorry!

Hey Nick were those m12 tools a combo kit? If so how much. That’s cool you got the two free batteries. My store has a Milwaukee rep too, the best I’ve gotten from him was a Milwaukee T-shirt. I spoke to the guy today, he’s real cool. Was telling me about the new radio. I was telling him I thought it was expensive at $229, he said it might be $160-170 at HD but it’s hard to say since it was his opinion.

Stuart, I wanted to say thanks for posting all the great black Friday deals. I didn’t get much but I managed to score that dewalt 20v drill for $99 at Lowe’s and got the 3 husky tool bag set and the Bosch daredevil spade bit set at home depot. Not a black Friday deal but also got a hdx 6′ keychain measuring tape to replace my 3′ Stanley keychain tape.

Before you buy an Amazon lightning deal check a few other places for the item you want. Home Depot has the Leatherman Wingman for 19 bucks. Amazon is 24.99.

I agree with Don, sometimes Amazon can be illusive with their pricing. Now that the no tax days are over with, Amazon is having a greater challenge with price competition. I made my way into HD again today and didn’t see anything that was priced that lower than normal. I did see Milwaukee’s utility knife priced $5 lower than normal ($9.99 as opposed to $14.99) however, in my opinion — there isn’t a lot of value in that tool anyhow. As a general contractor, I tend to lose utility knives more than make use of them. The lower priced models make better sense to me. I also saw a M12 screwdriver / impact driver (original m12 models) kit for $99. That one also didn’t make sense to me, as the tools are somewhat redundant. Impact drivers are over used these days, but I think I’d get more use out of a drill and impact driver than the former. I’m beginning to think that the best “Black Friday” deals to be had are online. Amazon’s $25 off deals are pretty good. Javier — I bought the M12’s as separate tool kits. I suspect they’ll come out as a kit at some point, as they were $169 and $189 each. I may return the impact and order the bare tool to save a few bucks. I have an M18 fuel impact and drill, but I like the smaller guys for electrical and HVAC — they’re just easier to handle. For cabinets, I do the installs with an impact for hanging and a Festool CSX for joinery. I suppose having 5 drills and impacts could be looked at as excessive, but when I run with an extra hand on the crew I have enough tools for all.
