Amazon has what they’re describing as a limited time deal on this Dewalt 20V Max cordless oscillating multi-tool kit, DCS356C1.
This kit comes with Dewalt’s premium XR brushless oscillating tool, a compact battery (1.5Ah), charger, tool bag, and starter accessories.
At the time of this posting, Amazon’s deal price is $119. Home Depot also has this as a “special buy,” but at the $129 price point.

We don’t know how many that Amazon has in stock, but Home Depot says they have 4,258 available for delivery. I presume that Home Depot will match Amazon’s deal pricing at some point, likely as their holiday deals go live in a week or two.
It looks like $119 will be the holiday season price.
For Prime Day earlier this month, Amazon had a Dewalt sander kit for $118. For a deal of the day recently, Home Depot had a Dewalt hammer drill kit for $129.
While this set has sold for less in the past, $119 might be the lowest we can expect to see this Dewalt cordless oscillating tool kit sell for this holiday shopping season.
Is $119 a good price for what you get? Well, Amazon says they sold 2K+ of the same tool by itself (no charger or battery) in the past month. Right now, Amazon has the tool-only OMT for ~$151 (directly, a little less from 3rd party sellers), and Home Depot is matching that price.
$119 for a kit vs ~$151 for just the bare tool? That’s still a great deal.

If you don’t need it right now, keep in mind that many more holiday tool deals and lower seasonal pricing will launching soon.
Also, this is the XR 3-speed brushless version, not the Atomic single speed OMT. Unfortunately, Dewalt hasn’t updated the kit with a better battery yet, but that’s something you can do later on.
Personally, I’d still rather buy this 3-speed tool with a low capacity battery than the lower featured Atomic version.
As with most power tool purchases this time of year, pay attention to the return policy. There’s plenty of inventory at retailers, and we’re not even at the official start of the holiday deals season. In other words, there’s no need to rush to buy this unless you want to put it to immediate use.

I picked this one up from Lowe’s last year for $81 and it’s definitely paid for itself 10x.
