Amazon’s 2016 Black Friday and Holiday tool deals kicked off already, and more are on the way.
Most of the money-off tool brand deals kicked off at the beginning of November, and the rest are expected to go live mid-month.

In past years’ promos, I’ve learned that the popular tools can sometimes sell out quickly. If a tool is not in stock, but still orderable direct from Amazon with a “shipping soon” notice or similar, placing an order will usually get you a place in the fulfillment line.
I’ll post about the more notable deals separately, but here’s a quick list:
Bosch: $25 off $100+ Select Tools, thru 11/17/16
Dewalt: $25 off $100+ Select Tools, thru 12/22/16
Hitachi: $25 off $100+ Orders, thru 12/31/16
Makita: Save $25 off $100+ Orders, thru 12/31/16
Dewalt: Buy a Drill and Impact Driver Kit, Get a FREE Tool, thru 1/31/17
Dewalt: Buy a 20V Max Starter Kit, Get 2 Tools for FREE, thru 12/31/16 (Thanks WPNZ!)
Irwin: Save on Select tools
Dremel: Save up to 25%, thru 12/31/16
Black & Decker: $10 off $50+ Select Tools, thru 12/22/216

Its the same with Mexico, no batteries or kits due to the same restrictions… They ship a lot of items through ground parcels; but…

Thanks!
I mentioned this in the Home Depot cordless promo post, but it seems that this post is a great place to mention it too.

I put this on the sears page, but there is another Dewalt deal at Amazon

Whoa, that is a great deal!
There a number of tools in that list that aren’t often included in promos, such as the oscillating multi-tool and brushless drywall gun.

The $25 off makita doesn’t seem to apply to the new sub compact set. I’m up in the air between that set and m12 fuel at the moment and was hoping the $25 off would work to help make my decision easier.
I don’t really need any free tools, just the impact and drill. I would like to get into a setup with a strong 1/2″ impact in the lineup for automotive work, so makita would be the only winner there. If I went m12 id end up having to have two different tool lines. I guess not a big deal for one tool.
