Over at Amazon, they have a couple of new tool deals, and what looks to be stock replenishment of some popular Dewalt cordless power tool deals.
First up, there is a new selection of Dewalt cordless power tools, drills, and accessories on sale. Dewalt’s “PRO” 6-tool cordless power tool combo kit is back in stock and on sale, as are a couple of smaller combo kits and also a premium brushless 3-speed drill/driver kit.

These SATA tools seem kind of bad. for a couple bucks more, i will go the the channel lock pliers, thank you very much

Have you tried any of the SATA tools? When Apex launched the brand there seemed to be some hope that the quality/price ratio would be good.

i will confess that i have not tried them, and was just commenting on relative pricing.
i guess they are positioning it between the gearwrench and crescent brands for good/better/best? just not sure that was necessary.

I recall that when they launched – the hype was “tool truck quality at Amazon prices.” I thought that maybe they planned to be a replacement for the defunct Armstrong line – with lower prices because of production in Asia. I’m no auto mechanic – and in business I bought mostly industrial brands like Armstrong, Martin, Proto and Williams for our MRO and production needs. But from what I can glean many say that Apex’s Gearwrench is not quite on a par with the tooltruck brands (like SnapOn or Matco) – and is maybe a notch below the industrial brands and better European tools like Stahlwille .

Those little CLC/DeWalt belt pouches might make good stocking stuffers for people who work in shops. $11! I’m getting one to check it out, and if it looks good, I’ll get more.

This is close to the normal price; think I paid $9 a couple years ago. Beware!! the clip barely retains tape measures –and I tried several– a light bump and they pop right off!
In the end, I cut the clip off mine and stitched it to the inside of one of my work bags near the top. Works great there – where the farthest it can fall is into the bag.

Thanks for the tip, blocky!

that’s a decent price for that brad nailer. CPO outlet last week had the dewalt version of the same for the same price. the Dewalt seems to have a swivel air connector
don’t know if they still have that price

What about that DCD992 drill/driver set? Seems like a good deal with two 5.0 ah batteries?
