American Hammer $25 Deal Update

Mar 4, 2010 Stuart 2 Comments

If you buy something through our links, ToolGuyd might earn an affiliate commission.

We’ve been hearing some good feedback about the American Hammer deal we recently posted about, so we figured an update/reminder was in order. During this promotion, American Hammer is offering direct sales at an incredible discount – $25 (shipped!) for any style non-marring hammer under 2 lbs.

Please remember that to take advantage of this offer, you must be willing to provide an honest review of the purchased hammer. This can be done via a comment here or on any similar enthusiast forum or blog. As mentioned in the original post, we think that this minor requirement is  reasonable enough.

Now for the update -> we have just learned that the promotion will be ending on March 31st, after which point all sales will have to be through any of American Hammer’s distributors.

Please refer to our original post for full details, and if you purchase an American Hammer during this direct sales period, please be sure to let us know how it turns out.

I just received the 1.5# brass hammer with the aluminum handle. That thing is stout!

I’ll admit Harbor Freight is my go-to place for soft hammers. I never saw the justification of spending more on a hammer that’s designed to wear out.
I decided to go ahead and try this out even though $25 is still more than I would normally spend. I have to say I can see the difference.

I really need to get out to the shop and whack some things but something tells me I’ll never wear this thing out to the point of needing a replacement.

I just received the 8oz brass hammer. Now in the process of taking photos and writing the review. Will send it to you via email.
