This monsterously cool tool features offset multi-wrench jaws with 6 SAE sizes (1/4″ – 9/16″), a captive #1 Phillips insert bit, bottle opener, slotted screwdriver and prying tip, and the lanyard hole also functions as an oxygen wrench.
The first wave of Lock Nut Monsters sold out quickly the other day, but it looks like another batch is up for sale. These tools are priced at $70 + shipping, and can only be purchased via a link on Atwood’s Planet Pocket Tool blog.

As mentioned, the Lock Nut Monster is the first of a series of creature-themed tool designs, and it captures the essence of a serpent really well. One thing is certain – we’ll be watching very closely to see what comes next!

Atwood tools certainly aren’t for everyone, but they have a huge following amongst EDC enthusiasts. There are also quite a few folks that collect Atwood tools.

I agree with Indy…that’s alot of cash. Especially for a small piece of steel. For that money it should be made of titanium.

Many Atwood tools are in fact made from titanium. The ones made from steel are made from S30v or CPM 3V knife and tool steels.
Whatever you do, don’t look at how much these types of tools go for on Ebay!
