I briefly mentioned FastCap’s innovative woodworking & jobsite tools over a year ago, and since then I purchased a few of their accessories. In doing some late Spring cleaning, I dug out the box for FastCap’s ChopShop Saw Hood, which I kept around for a while thinking it would make a nice backdrop for a FastCap review. Although it doesn’t photograph well, the box is good looking, choc-full of usage diagrams and a photo of the inventor, earning it ToolGuyd’s first Best Box Art Award!
The ChopShop Saw Hood is a great product as well, deserving of a “Keeps Down the Stray Dust, saves me From My Wife’s Wrath” Award.

This will probably be the only Best Box Art Award we dole out, but I just couldn’t bear to recycle the box unless I gave it a bit of the recognition it deserves.
